Sorry for the little disappearing act – I’ve been busy with school, but I’ve (luckily) also been busy reading! I wanted to quickly put up my Fall TBR list, though, even though I’m behind on Top Ten Tuesday prompts (I plan on catching up, though, so expect some belated prompts, whether they’re on Tuesday or not). Who cares about exposition, though – on with the books!
Here are some of those titular “books waiting on my shelves” books – I bought The Big F last year or so, on a whim, but I still haven’t gotten around to reading it. I think I also have Incredibly Alice, one of the final books in the Alice series, in a collection of books I got from a library sale, so I just want to finish this super-big series already.
Two very different books (a mystery and a nonfiction tale about Hollywood), but they’re both in the adult realms, so they get shoved together. Play nicely, books.
FIRE! But also – no, a book that was on my spring TBR! I should have read you already, Last Stand of Dead Men, I’m so sorry. At least For a Muse of Fire is new and I don’t have to feel guilty about it.
I have three of these books, so I can easily get to these books, but unfortunately, that’s not always a factor. I will be a good reader this season, I will!
By the way, if you’re curious how I did on my last TBR (Spring – it doesn’t look like I did a summer one, unless I missed it when going through my archives), I’ve since read 7 of them, DNFed 1, and still need to read 2. Not bad, but I know I can do better – let’s crush this, fall!
