Come Check Out My Dream Classroom Library // Top Ten Tuesday

TopTenTuesday

This week’s topic is a “School Freebie,” which is fitting since it’s my last first week of classes (next semester is student teaching and then *gulp* real teaching), so I decided to go over the top and pick 28 books I would have in a high school classroom library if I could do whatever I want. I’m going to be an early childhood education major and unfortunately most of these books would probably end up getting some parents mad because what’s school without overbearing parents who have issues with much-needed diversity? – anyway, that’s why this is all an unlikely dream.

*ahem*

Anyway, it’s been a long first day as I write this up at the end of Monday, so I’m just listing the various topics that these books cover that I think all teenagers need to read about.
